Our longstanding relationship with Rolex is a proud one and was cemented on Tuesday, 2 May as we welcomed guests to our exhibition of the luxury watch house’s latest collection as we became the UK’s first retailer to showcase the Baselworld 2017 collection.
We welcomed guests to London’s stunning neoclassical landmark Victoria House, where, upon arrival, guests were greeted and escorted to the viewing gallery for cocktails, canapes and champagne. This was then followed by an evening of fine dining, entertainment, and demonstrations from watchmakers.
Presentations from our CEO, Brian Duffy, and Managing Director of Rolex, Richard De Leyser, took place throughout the course of the evening, further illustrating the unique relationship we share.
The illustrious setting of Victoria House allowed us to take our clients on a journey through the history of Rolex, the philanthropic nature of the brand and finally culminating in a showcase of the 2017 Baselworld collection, where we presented a range of pieces available for purchase on the night.
Since its inauguration in 1905, Rolex has been closely linked with an impressive number of exploration and sporting activities, and now, iconic watches such as the Yacht-Master and Cosmograph Daytona, have been newly released as part of their expanding range.
Throughout May and June, we will be hosting regional exhibitions to provide you with the opportunity to view these exemplary collections at selected Mappin & Webb Stores:
