Swiss luxury watchmaker, Breitling, is proud to unveil the latest in the collection of Limited-Edition pieces in partnership with the Royal Air Force – the exclusive Aerospace Red Arrows Special Edition. Breitling is the principal supplier of aviation watches as well as being the official sponsor of the world-renowned Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows. Following a partnership with the Royal Air Force that dates back to the 1930s, this stunning timepiece is the latest in a celebrated line of Limited-Edition timepieces born out of this enviable collaboration, and one which we are distinctly excited about.

Breitling is the only luxury watch brand to be given exclusive permission to feature the emblems unique to the distinguished Red Arrows aerobatic team. Each of the Red Arrows timepieces are highly sought-after collector’s editions with a legacy that lives on through generations and this latest model is no exception. Limited to just 350 pieces worldwide, every timepiece pays tribute to each Red Arrows display pilot that has flown and served with the team since the inauguration in 1965.

We are proud that Breitling and the Red Arrows have one of the longest running relationships between a watch brand and a military display team. A relationship built on shared values, precision timing and excellence and a trust in our designs and functionality, as the pilots continue to wear our watches whilst testing the limits in their breath-taking displays. This Aerospace – elevated with Red Arrows insignia - is a long-requested edition that we have great pleasure in making available to the public for the first time Gavin Murphy Breitling UK Managing Director

This powerful and technical watch is packed with features that make it the quintessential tool for fast-jet pilots. It’s Integrated LCD screens display a 1/100th of a second chronograph, countdown timer, second timer zone, alarm, minute repeater and calendar, all easily activated using the crown. The Red Arrows trademark ‘Diamond Nine’ flight formation appears on the blue dial at 3 o’clock, whilst the caseback is equally as eye-catching with the Eclat crest engraved on the caseback.

Timing is critical to the world-class, dynamic displays and colourful flypasts synonymous with the Red Arrows. The team has to arrive at the right place, at the right time anywhere around the world, to the second – often with millions watching in-person or many more enjoying the performances via global media coverage. This precision and attention-to-detail are hallmarks shared by the Red Arrows and Breitling. But our mutual dedication and focus goes further than that. We’re pleased to have such a longstanding relationship with another organisation that understands how to combine this unrelenting requirement for precision with creativity, innovation and style.
