Our Baselworld 2019 Wrap-up, featuring our CEO, Brian Duffy and Head of Watch Buying Mark Toulson, together with International Senior Watch Buyer Faye Soteri, reviews the latest collections from Rolex, Patek Philippe, Breitling, Tudor and Zenith.

Amongst some of the pieces discussed from Rolex was the new Rolex Yacht-Master, which is encased in a 42mm 18-carat white-gold case and sports a black lacquered dial and bidirectional rotating Cerachrom bezel. Faye explains, quite astutely, that "the beauty is in its simplicity".

Patek Philippe was another brand that released a new collection that certainly turned heads, and one particular timepiece the team discussed was the Ref. 5212A Calatrava Weekly Calendar. Capable of displaying the current week number as well as the day and date, this steel 40mm timepiece features the self-winding Caliber 26-330 movement and the calfskin strap is finished with white hand stitching.

Ushering in a new line up to their ever-expanding timepiece collection, Hublot continues their collaboration between themselves and Ferrari in the new Classic Fusion Ferrari GT collection. Featuring the UNICO movement and taking inspiration from the racing world, these new, limited timepieces are undoubtedly a welcome introduction to their catalogue of stunning pieces.

These were, of course, a small handful amongst the timepieces that were discussed in this Baselworld 2019 wrap-up.
