The Girard Perregaux Laureato is a design classic and truly the watch for any occasion. This bold, elegant timepiece, born in 1975, has only once in its history been decorated with a golden dial - a one-off piece for an exhibition in 1985.

To celebrate the centenary of The Watches of Switzerland Group, the Laureato pairs the rose gold rotor of the in-house Calibre GP01800 movement with a matching rose gold dial, in the customary 'Clous de Paris' pyramid pattern. The result is a stunning, limited edition iteration of an iconic timepiece, with the caseback engraved with an edition number and a tribute to the hundred years of The Watches of Switzerland Group.

The Laureato is a masterpiece of aesthetics, famously framed by a sculpted octagonal bezel, evoking strength in a subtle, elegant fashion.

This 42mm timepiece, exclusive to The Watches of Switzerland, pairs the lavish rose gold dial with indexes and Girard-Perregaux logo in 18ct white gold. For a sense of thrilling contrast, a hallmark of the Laureato model, both the case and bracelet are crafted from stainless steel, with a combined brushed and polished finish.

Powered by the in-house GP01800 calibre movement, the Laureato is matched in elegance and aesthetics by a feat of engineering. Delicately crafted from 191 components, and featuring a power reserve of 54 hours, the automatic movement is a work of art in itself and fully visible through the sapphire caseback.
